The British Book Awards – or The Nibbies, as they are affectionately known – celebrate the best in British writing, publishing and book selling. All eight shortlists have been announced, and battling it out this year are British powerhouses like David Walliams, Jojo Moyes and Ian Rankin, newcomers Heather Morris, Stuart Turton and Ruth Jones, and even the controversial A. J. Finn, better known to the publishing industry as Dan Mallory.
The winners will be chosen by eight individual judge panels, with a separate panel picking out the overall book of the year. Which will succeed last years winner, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine? The results will be announced on May 13th!
